On my works

I am mainly looking for spatiality, direction and movement and I am always aiming at linking wearability with sculptural form. For making my jewelry I work with drawing card using both its flexibility and its stability. My ideas arise from working with the material and my observations of what happens when forcing the bundles of card by my hand in different directions. I always use the same basic shape. For me, as an artist, it’s also very important to generate tension in the material when working.
